Children’s Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessment & Diagnostic service in York, Manchester & online

If you think your child has signs of autism, you should talk to your child about potentially taking an assessment. It is important to seek their views and consent, if appropriate. Then, the next step is to talk to a professional such as your GP about a diagnostic assessment.

Seeking assessment for your child can help you to understand their needs and the best possible support for them and your family moving forwards.

Not everyone assessed will receive a diagnosis; there may be other aspects we consider to find what is appropriate for each individual.
