National ADHD Medication Shortage
We are experiencing current severe disruptions in the supply of ADHD medications nationally.
NHS England have recently issued a National patient safety alert which highlights supply disruptions (please see link opposite)
We understand that this news may be unsettling and cause worry for you who rely on these medications as a crucial part of your treatment, please be assured that we recognise the role these medications play in your well-being and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
Our team are working hard to be as responsive as possible to any medication requests but please be aware that our capacity is currently limited due to the high levels of demand.
We are actively monitoring the situation and will endeavour to keep you informed as updates become available.
We have seen an exponential increase in request for medication reviews and we are working as hard as we can to increase our capacity as well as revise current pathways for more efficient and timely interventions, for transparency about our wait times for medication reviews please see below –
