My Qualifications
MSc Occupational Therapy (pre reg)
PgCert Sensory Integration Therapy
Why I became a therapist
I became an occupational therapist because believe in a “whole-person approach” to health and wellbeing and aim to enable individuals to achieve their full potential. Neurodiverse individuals often have unique and varied experiences and so my training, including sensory integration training, allows me to specifically consider these and what strategies and approaches may be beneficial.
What I enjoy most about my work
I enjoy meeting and working with neurodivergent individuals of all ages and like the rewards of being able to support individuals to overcome the challenges they have.
My interests outside of work
I like to try to keep fit and healthy. I have previously played a number of different sports but now it is mainly just watching them. My favourite thing is spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors.
