My Expertise

I am an advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner. As an occupational therapist I am interested in how I can help people do the things they need and want to do in everyday life. I am passionate about how sensory processing underpins everything we do as it is the foundation on which all other skills develop. I work with individuals and in consultation with other significant people in their lives to gain understanding about their individual sensory profile and what strategies or treatments might be helpful.

What I enjoy the most about my work

The fact that the client is a centre of all that we do as a service. The joint working approach to ensure that clients benefit from several different specialisms when trying to enhance their strengthens and work through their challenges. The supportive team enables growth and development for staff.

My interests outside of work

I am interested in supporting my own intrinsic wisdom and that for others, I run a monthly group for girls moving into puberty to be a safe space to explore, celebrate their uniqueness and strengthen the connection to their inner knowing, something we all have if we can tap in a and listen.
I love to dance and move and wild swim. I am passionate about peoples right to be heard and valued within society and promote equality and celebration of difference.
