Why I became a therapist
I became an occupational therapist because the role is so interesting and varied, it uses a holistic approach to really understand what someone needs, to help them live-not just survive. My empathy for people is a strength I am grateful for and what guides and motivates me in my role.
What I enjoy the most about my work
The thing I enjoy most about my work is meeting different people, learning about who they are and understanding what is important to them.
My interests outside of work
I love being in green spaces, particularly at our allotment -this is where I feel most peaceful. I also enjoy time with loved ones, visiting the beach, and looking after other people’s dogs!
