My Expertise

I work with adults, children, and young people. I specialise in working with young people with developmental trauma and neurodiverse needs. I am a pluralistic therapist meaning I can help with a broad range of needs using a range of approaches. These include anxieties, relationship difficulties, low moods, and self-esteem.

My Qualifications

MA – psychology (2014-2018)
MSc – Psychological wellbeing in clinical practice (2019-2020)
DCounsPsych – Professional Doctorate in Counselling psychology (2021-2024)

What I enjoy most about my work

My main therapeutic approaches include relational approaches and compassion focussed therapy. Compassion plays a role in how I like to support others, particularly helping others to have compassion for themselves.

The thing I love most about being a therapist is seeing how people have the power and strength within them to help themselves and grow.

My interests outside of work

I love spending time volunteering for charities. These include charities who work with children with health conditions and who work with adults with learning difficulties. I find volunteering a lovely way to meet new people who are all there for a great reason!
