My Expertise
I am an integrative therapist specialising in supporting individuals to safely explore and heal trauma, adverse life experiences, and mental health challenges. My experience spans a variety of clinical settings, including private practice, charitable organizations, and the voluntary sector, where I have provided counselling to both adults and adolescents.
My primary areas of focus include anxiety, depression, and mood disorders; historical trauma; domestic abuse; childhood abuse; historic sexual abuse; low self-confidence; and identity issues.
Additionally, I have pursued further professional development in working with adults who identify as neurodiverse, enabling me to tailor my approach to effectively support these clients alongside my primary areas of focus.
I practice from an Integrative perspective of Psychotherapy, including psychodynamic therapy, client-centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, transactional analysis alongside mindfulness and breathing techniques.
Integrative psychotherapy can offer the benefit of addressing multiple dimensions of the self—mood, cognition, physiology, and behaviour, making it very effective for some people. My practice is grounded in helping the client to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, through an attentive and collaborative environment, clients are supported in exploring and addressing their self identified goals.

Why I became a therapist
I became a therapist to assist people in understanding the whole of themselves and realizing that change is possible.
What I enjoy most about my work
The most fulfilling part of my role is watching people grow, way beyond the challenges they had once believed would dictate their entire lives.
