Why I became a therapist

I became a psychologist because I have always been fascinated by the human mind. My interest in autism began nearly 20 years ago after reading Peter Szatmari’s warm and insightful book A Mind Apart. Since then, I have been deeply committed to understanding autism and providing thoughtful, respectful autism assessments for neurodivergent individuals and their families.

What I enjoy most about my work

I love my work because it gives me the privilege of hearing people’s stories-of being trusted with their experiences, truly understanding them, and having the chance to make a meaningful difference in their lives.

My interests outside of work

Spending time in nature – whether walking on the beach just minutes from home, doing yoga or pilates, tending to my garden, or relaxing with my cats-brings me joy and balance. These moments help me stay grounded and connected to the calm, presence, and care I bring into my work.
